Who is like me, not played for longer, the look is an innovation of recent months in particular. The re-boarding for longer absent characters is in fact become much easier. Avalon Avalon MUD

long I've waited until I write this entry. Mostly because I know that German MUD admins handle very cooperative with each other and make common cause and maintain rather than a kind of friendly rivalry with each other and also because I was drummed into anyone hitting them in the head.

But after six months (or more?) That Avalon shows consistently higher numbers of users as the dawn, Unitopia or silver Land (*), I can hold back no longer: Avalon can now call themselves the largest German MUD!

A fanfare and a small triumph feeling.

And what might that be now? Well, first of all, I would not shake the feeling that the former leader, Dawn, has lost much of users (Does anyone know if this may seem to be so or why this might be?), But also Avalon itself that increasing numbers of users, compared with last year, for example, has.

And no, the latter is not because we idelnde player until much later kick. Daueridler - of which, there is only a few. Statues I have not always included. What might some of these exchanges are so?

What theories do you have? What are we doing right?

• pursuing for some time, I Legaussas (one player) blog, some interesting "technical" article on muds and some information has to Newbiequests. I can recommend it only nobles and players.

Just leave the two but a few comments. I know myself how rewarding it is - because otherwise you never know how many people really care the blog of interest.


EDIT: Legaussa also has a MCCP / SSL proxy written in Java. Practical!
